Level

A week of no gains or apparent losses. Stomach still uncomfortable and minor pain in my side. Dietician and daughter Dr. have focused on a fluid diet until thing settle down. Off the antibiotics as of today so that should help in the nether regions.
Have been at cottage since Wednesday night with 5 grand children and their parents. Quite a fun zoo. I am hoping to get this stomach setback under control this week so I can get on with the cancer recovery and gain some weight.
Thanks for all the support through this most difficult of periods. Calls, notes, emails, messages, and comments were all so helpful. I truly hope the next blog has more onward and upward in it!
Warm wishes to all,
Peter

  1. Hi Peter. I guess the old adage 'life is a journey and not a destination' is not apropos your situation when the journey has been so tough. The destination and full recovery is there, and you will reach it.
We hope for the coming week of improvements, and some lbs (or ounces!) Cheers brian g

  2. Hi Peter: Sorry to hear that the last couple of weeks have been so difficult. Here's hoping that it's forward - onward and upward - from here on. D&I have a few lbs we could give you!
You're in our prayers Peter. Lots of love, Dennis & Kathy

  3. Peter - read and heard all about your last week. Sounds like that dealer of the cards was a little off in dealing you and your fair share these last few months. I'm sure the kids tired you out just by their squeals of delight at being with you and Sandra and at the lake. I am turly sorry you didn't get to experience all you would have with them this summer - but there is next summer to look forward to. Keep fighting the fight. Day at a time I guess. Thinking of you lots. LOVE the "Mann Grandparents". (those kids sure are darn cute aren't they!!!)
